Jordan Peele’s Nope Screened, See What People Are Saying About The Horror Movie

The wait was high for peel of jordan No after the previous two (critically acclaimed) forays into the horror genre : 2017 salt 2019 WE. The details of NoThe plot of was intentionally poor, as the writer / director wants the film to be an unexpected experience for its audience. Fear not: the film has been screened and now we can have a little more understanding of the first reactions to the film, while still retaining that delicious fear of the unknown.

Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer are the protagonists No like brothers starting to see something (but what?) in the sky above their ranch. Any extraterrestrial would be a good guess at hand as to what is piloting the UFO and causing it all Spooky incidents featured in the trailer . Gossipify’s Sean O’Connell shared his reaction to the exclusive footage of No which premiered at CinemaCon 2022 earlier this year, and now Gossipify’s Eric Eisenberg has seen the film in person, Tweeter only with NoJordan Peele went 3 out of 3:

Fandango’s Erik Davis praises the film, saying it captivates you from the start with its strong storytelling and makes you want to talk about it long after. Apparently it’s unlike any UFO movie we’ve seen:

While the story may not be as strong as Jordan Peele’s previous two films, the social commentary is poignant as one would expect, and Peele remains one of this reviewer’s favorite directors:

Without revealing too much (or anything) about the plot, these first reactions certainly excite me even more. No It will arrive in theaters on Friday 22 July. Jordan Peele said his films were designed to be viewed multiple times , with Easter eggs layered all over. He also talked about the mischievous pleasure he takes in scaring his audience, so it looks like viewers will be happy when No hits cinemas.
