While you may not remember this character’s name from Prison Break, T-Bag’s face is instantly familiar. Real name Theodore Bagwell, aka T-Bag, is the white supremacist leader of the Fox River Penitentiary.
Manipulative and very dangerous, he is part of Michael Scofield’s team during their escape attempt in the first season. He would be featured in the show’s next four seasons and in the TV movie Prison Break: The Final Break (2010).

Robert Knepper began his career long before his escape from prison, in That’s Life! by Blake Edwards (1986) and landed his first role the following year in Max Reid’s Wild Thing. This first attempt did not give him a breakthrough and he starred in a number of feature films such as Dead on Arrival (1988) and Young Guns II (1990) and directed several episodes of series and TV movies.

Woody Allen cast him for a small role in Everybody Says I Love You (1996), and Knepper had a recurring role in the HBO series The Caravan of the Strange (2003). In 2005, thanks to his resurgence in popularity thanks to Prison Break, he can be seen in the films Good Night and Good Luck (2005), Hitman (2007), The Transporter 3 and The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008).
After escaping from prison

After Prison Break ended in 2010, Robert Knepper joined Season 4 of Heroes to portray the villain Samuel Sullivan, who can control the Earth. He plays a brief arc in Stargate: Universe (6 episodes), then plays Frank Sinatra in the French biopic Claude Francois Clocloz (2012).
He returned to play a mobster in the miniseries Mob City and appeared in a Season 2 episode of Arrow as the supervillain Time King, a role he reprized the same year in The Flash, set in the same universe. In cinema, he plays small roles in blockbusters such as RIPD, Percy Jackson 2 and the last two Hunger Games.
Prison Break reunion
Before filming Prison Break season 5 late, he starred opposite Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) and joined Twin Peaks season 3. After a small role on Homeland, he had a recurring role on iZombie.
In 2018, he reunited with Amauri Nolasco (Sucre from Prison Break) in Edge of Fear. It is the first of his many films to be shot in China, including SWAT, Voice of the Nation (2019) and Han Zhan (2020). In the following years, he made direct-to-video films, often in the action or thriller genre, such as The Moderator, WarHunt (2022) or Mindcage (2023).
She will soon be seen in the TV series House of Gray, which centers on three women who, according to President Grant, helped the North win the Civil War.
