The image was originally posted on another platform by a profile parodying Elon Musk with the text “Should I make a Tesla limo for Trump? Bulletproof, of course!”, as if it were a declaration from the billionaire.

The limousine is also not in the list of cars produced by Tesla. In fact, there is no such vehicle model in the catalog available on the site of the automotive company.
On the Internet, Comprova found a Tesla limousine which was not created by the manufacturer, but adapted from an original model. This is a model based on S85 model from 2015. The vehicle was for sale on eBay in 2017 and is not the same one that appears in the content reviewed in this check.
According to the description on eBay at the time of the announcement, the limousine was built for an advertising project of the company Big Limos, which specializes in extending cars and converting vehicles into luxury limousines.
On TikTok, a post used the same image of the alleged Tesla limousine to claim that former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) received an invitation to see the vehicle. Bolsonaro, however, did not publish any posts on social media regarding the possible invitation, as did Musk and Trump.
Comprova reached out to Tesla and the press offices of Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro, but did not receive a response until this check was released. The initiative also contacted the author of the post on TikTok without receiving a response.
