The two women obviously won’t be the only characters viewers will find this season. As he wants to reform the Republic of Gilead, Commander Lawrence, always a difficult man, teams up with Aunt Lydia. Not to mention Luke, Moira and June’s quest to save Hanna…
Viewers will be able to discover Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale exclusively on OCS starting September 15, the day after the American broadcast. Two episodes will be offered at launch, followed by one episode per week.
Still starring Elisabeth Moss in one of the most important roles of her career, the series reunites Yvonne Strahovski, Bradley Whitford, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Ott Fagbenle, Samira Willis, Sam Jaeger and Amanda Bruegel.
However, fans will be saddened to learn that actress Alexis Bledel, who has played Emily since her debut on The Handmaid’s Tale, will not be returning this season. It is not yet known if this will explain his character’s departure.
So it’s a new burst of episodes full of twists, but also emotions and of course big upheavals that await fans of the hit series!
