A Better Life Preview: What’s in store for Tuesday 19 November 2024 Episode 216 [SPOILERS]

A new arrival at the Pavillon des Fleurs

At the Pavillon des Fleurs, Blanche and Eric welcome foreigners who wish to obtain a residence permit. They inform them that they have to take a test to see if they understand French well. They offer to bring them into practice.

Eric volunteers to play the baker, and one of the strangers has to play the customer. One person serves the game, but dialogue is difficult for Eric. The second person, who is already fluent in the language, decides to replace Eric.

This man is aggressive towards his comrade because the latter has difficulty speaking French. He explains to Blanche and Eric that he is only reproducing reality: he is used to dealing with unfriendly merchants.

After the seminar, Eric notices that the man is receiving many messages on his phone. Finally he realizes that he is the supplier. Trying to find out more about him, but he doesn’t seem to be in the mood to talk.

Gabriel and Thomas play detective

Thomas (Laurent Kerussore) meets Gabriel in front of the building. She informs her husband that Steve found the first person to sell his identity on the dark web and he lives here.

But the two men discover that there are CCTV cameras in the parking lot. Therefore, they are obliged to photograph license plates with the utmost discretion. Suddenly, the resident notices them driving around the car.

After escaping, Gabriel asks her husband how they are going to find the owner. Thomas informs her husband that she has the number of the building’s concierge. She calls him, invents a lie and manages to get the liar’s apartment number: it’s 12. The two spouses decide to return to the scene to question the man.

Thomas asks her husband not to get angry, but the latter is already angry and determined to stop the man who is stealing her identity. He knocks on the door, then on the window, and suddenly a young man appears. Upon discovering his face, Gabriel decides to retreat… and for good reason, he knows this individual.

Ophel falls into Anthony’s trap

Ophel is walking in the park with Anthony. They reminisce together, making a young woman’s day. The latter takes the opportunity to praise Ophel’s stylistic talent: “I was amazed to find that your work was contemporary but also bold.”

Ophel confides in Anthony that she is angry with Julie, and the latter replies: “I’m so worried, she’s fragile. Do you happen to know where she is?” But Ophel decides to keep quiet out of respect for her brother.

On the other hand, Ulysses (Jeremy Charvet) asks his ex-girlfriend, Julie, if it’s true that she’s on medication. He answers that he takes anxiolytic drugs: “I want to stop, but I can’t.” Ulysses advises the young woman to talk to Leah about it, and Julie agrees.

In addition, the young woman adds that after being in a relationship with Anthony, she constantly feels anxiety, especially after he proposed marriage.

A few hours later, Ophel, angrier than ever after her discussion with Anthony, attacks Julie: “First you dump my brother for Antony and now it’s the other way around, what are you playing? Are you excited to see them break up? You’re a pervert!”

Ulysses orders Ophelia to apologize to Julie, but she refuses. He reminds her that Julie is a bad person: “He’s playing the victim because he knows it’s a lie. He’s responsible for what’s happening to him and he’s using you.”

Ulysses informs his sister that he will always be by Julie’s side as she remains very attached to him. During the discussion, he learns that Ophelia has seen Antony. He said to his sister: “You have to watch out for him, he’s dangerous.”

Later that day, Vanessa (Agathe de la Boulaye) goes to the law firm to talk to her son. The latter informs him that Anthony has contacted Ophel again. She is convinced that this man is trying to turn her sister against her. for what purpose Mother and daughter ignore him.
