Cat’s Eyes on TF1: Is there really a police station that Quentin works for?

Last week, TF1 launched with much fanfare Cat’s Eyes, a series helmed by Camille Lou, Constance Labe and Claire Romain, adapted from Tsukasa Hojo’s acclaimed manga.

If viewers are looking forward to discovering the new adventures of Tami, Celia and Alexia, they will no doubt be interested in meeting Quentin Chapuis (Mohamed Belkhir), the police captain in charge of investigating the theft of art by the Chamadi sisters.

Is there really a police station that Quentin works for?

The answer is yes!

If in the original work Quentin works in a small police station, in the series he is the captain of the BRB, the gang repression brigade.

The BRB is a French judicial police unit specialized in the fight against organized crime and criminal offences. Within this brigade, a unit is specifically dedicated to crimes related to works of art: the Art Theft Repression Group. This unit is responsible for dealing with art theft and has particular expertise in identifying, tracking and recovering stolen works of art.
