In development for four years, Madonna’s biopic could become a television project – if it continues without prospects
One of the greatest pop divas in music history, responsible for hits like “Like a Prayer,” “La Isla Bonita,” “MaterialGirl” and “Like a Virgin,” Madonna shared frustrations about the production of her biopic, which encountered several setbacks over the years.
Last Monday, the 18th, the 66-year-old artist spoke about the project, titled Who’s That Girl. “After struggling for days in Los Angeles, listening to producers and agents tell me why I couldn’t make my film – (I’ve been working on it for four years!!!) downsize – downsize – think smaller – they say – I realized that everything in my life will be challenged,” he wrote on social media.
“There are no easy rides for me. I guess I should be grateful. It forces me to think outside the box. I haven’t had a normal life,” she continued. “I can’t do this the normal way. Spending time with my creative friends was exactly the fuel I needed to keep going! We all agree we need to be even more fearless!!! Art = Survival.”
We cannot shrink and become smaller. If you really want something in life, the entire universe will conspire to help you get it. I should turn my life story into a series or feature film. Think before you answer!!
