Isabel Mayknown for her performance as Elsa Dutton in the prequels of Yellowstone (1883 and 1923), was cast to play Sidney Prescott’s daughter in the highly anticipated Scream 7. The information was given by the magazine Variety and confirmed by Paramount Pictureswhich will distribute the film. Furthermore, this will be the first time that Sidney Prescott, played by Neve Campbellreturns to the franchise since his absence in Scream 6 because of a salary dispute.
In addition to Campbell’s return, the film features a revamped cast. Melissa Barrerawho starred in the last two films in the franchise, was removed from the project in 2023 due to controversial statements about the Israel-Hamas conflict.
