First part of the adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, is now showing in Brazilian cinemas

One day after the premiere of Wickedfilm adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, in Brazilian cinemas, the soundtrack of the film starring Cynthia Erivo (Harriet) and Ariana Grande(Don’t Look Up) has just arrived on digital platforms.

For now, only the original version of the songs, in English, is available. So far, Universal Music Brasil has not yet confirmed whether the Portuguese version, with the voices of Myra Ruiz and Fabi Bangwho starred in the story in the theater and now return to dub the film, will also be available on streaming. What is the story of Wicked?

Wicked tells the story of two unlikely friends, Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), before becoming the Wicked Witch of the Westand Glinda (Ariana Grande), the future Good Witch of the Southwho become best friends, even with opposing personalities, different points of view and the fight for the love of the same man.

In addition to Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grandethe cast of Wicked still has Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Travel Companions), Bowen Yang (Megaromantic, Saturday Night Live) and Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) and Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere at the Same Time), between others.
