After their debut, Wicked and Gladiator 2 enter the competition for the 2025 Oscar

The update on the race towards the Oscars also adds the first comments on the performance of Timothée Chalamet in the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Strangermaking the star one of the main candidates for the Best Actor statuette, alongside Adrien Brody (The Brutalist) and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave).

Brazil remains with great chances of being nominated in the Best International Film category with the drama I’m Still Herefrom Walter Salleswith Fernanda Torres (Foreign Land) and Selton Mello (The Auto da Compadecida). In the preview, the film is one of the five mentioned, alongside Emilia Pérez (France), Dahomey (Senegal), Kneecap (Ireland) and The Seed of the Sacred Fig (Germany).
