Although its adaptation on TF1 is a hit, this famous cartoon will be remade in 2025!

If you grew up in the 80s and 90s and spent hours watching Minikeums, or L’été des zouzous, then you’ve probably already seen Signé Cat’s Eyes. This 73-episode Japanese cartoon tells the story of three sisters, Tam, Alex and Celia.

Cafe-bar owners transform themselves into unrecognizable thieves during the day to replace works of art. But not any. The latter belonged to the father who disappeared a few years ago, whom they are desperately trying to find.

Like a certain number of Japanese productions from this era (such as Captain Tsubasa / Olive and Tom recently), Signé Cat’s Eyes will be given a little boost. Polish. Disney+ has indeed announced that the animated remake will be released in 2025 and even revealed the first images:

We don’t see it yet Chara-design Three sisters, but it lets us know the artistic direction of the studios. We get the vibe of the 80s and 90s with the bright colors and neon lights of the city, but with a more modern aesthetic.

We also get to see the cafe the thieves run, as well as their famous business card they send before the robbery to anticipate the police’s plans.

This first teaser is already highly anticipated and now we’re just waiting for one thing: to know who will cover the famous theme song performed by Isabelle Giardi at the time…

A manga that is a hit!

A Japanese manga adaptation by Tsukasa Hojo, Cat’s Eyes is doubly in the news as TF1 is currently broadcasting it live-action. And this is a success for the French channel, if the audience figures are to be believed.

It must be said that the producers were able to achieve their ambitions by filming in emblematic locations of the capital, from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre, including Versailles.
