Directed by Eli Roth and produced by Quentin Tarantino, “Hostel” is a horror film that shocked audiences with its graphic and extreme violence.

In the story, tourists in Slovakia become victims of a secret organization that profits by providing torture and murder experiences to sadistic individuals.

The “Evil Dead” franchise is known for being quite gory. However, the remake “Death of the Demon” (2013) went beyond bloodshed.

In the film, a group of people in an isolated cabin in the woods face evil entities summoned by a book that possesses them.

The story follows a young couple struggling to find each other as a devastating pandemic turns people into ruthless, sadistic killers.

One of director Takashi Miike’s most violent and gory films is “Ichi the Killer”. Based on a manga, the film follows the sadistic Kakihara, a brutal killer in search of his gang’s missing leader.

The plot also explores Ichi, a psychologically fragile character, but endowed with extraordinary abilities, whose violence is unleashed in a devastating way.

A very low budget British trash film, “Born from Hell” is an anthology production that features separate story segments.

The connection between them is through an imprisoned murderer who seeks revenge against those who imprisoned him, acting through the character “The Man”.

Directed by Peter Jackson, the same person responsible for the film adaptations of “The Lord of the Rings”, “Trash – Total Nausea” is a New Zealand cult film.

With a low budget, the film uses practical special effects that explore gore in a mix of horror and comedy. In the plot, bizarre aliens invade Earth in search of human meat to supply their fast food chain.

The classic sci-fi action film “Robocop” is known for its extreme violence. Critically acclaimed, the film is directed by Paul Verhoeven and stars Peter Weller.

In the plot, a police officer is brutally murdered by criminals, but a megacorporation brings him back to life as a ruthless crime-fighting cyborg police officer.

The slasher “Terrifier” attracted attention for its gory violence. In the plot, two young women and, later, the sister of one of them become targets of a mysterious killer clown, Art the Clown, on Halloween night.

The Polish production “Death at Six in the Afternoon” is a crime thriller with shocking and bloody moments.

In the plot, a detective investigates a serial killer who commits murders in which the victims are killed precisely at six in the afternoon.
