Hitting theaters in April 2022, The Bad Guys from DreamWorks Studios introduced a group of animals, high-flying thieves on the verge of committing their most glaring crime: becoming respectable citizens.
With an average press rating of 3.6 and an average audience rating of 3.9 on AlloCiné, the feature film is one of the top-rated animated films of 2022. It also grossed $250 million worldwide.
Released on Netflix in the summer of 2023, The Bad Guys quickly enjoyed a second life thanks to the streaming platform. The Christmas episode aired on the platform last winter, and the Halloween episode aired last October.
Today, the studio released the trailer for the feature film’s direct sequel. Still directed by Frenchman Pierre Perifel and co-directed by JP Sans, Bad boys 2 Sees ex-thieves retired and forced to do “one last job” by a team of women.
Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, Mr. Piranha, and Miss Tarantula respectively will once again become the bad guys to our and their great delight, because if we are to believe Mr. Wolf – is always voiced by Pierre Nini in VF. On the French vocal casting side, Pierre Nin will find his assistants Igor Gottesman (Mr. Snake), Dooley (Mr. Tarantula) and Jean-Pascal Zad (Mr. Rekin). The release is scheduled for July 30, 2025.
