The post-credits scene of the first season of “Ms. Marvel” was not filmed by the directors of the series, Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi (from “Bad Boys For Life”). In an interview with ComicBook, El Arbi revealed that the moment Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) appears in Kamala Khan’s (Iman Vellani) bedroom was played by Nia DaCosta (“The Legend of Candyman”), who will direct “The Marvels”. .
“He didn’t even know he was directing that scene to include on our show. That’s how Kevin Feige works. Everyone works separately and there are always times when we do things we don’t know where they are. It will end. Same thing: ‘Just focus on. it ‘”he said.
El Arbi revealed that he and his directing partner continually asked Feige during filming if Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel could make an appearance on the series. “She always told us: ‘Don’t worry, you’ll see.’
Immediately after this scene, a text warns not to leave doubts about the hook: “Ms. Marvel will return in ‘The Marvels'”.
In addition to the return of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, “The Marvels” will also see Samuel L. Jackson reprising the roles of Nick Fury and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau of “WandaVision”.
The film has a screenplay by Megan McDonnell (of the “WandaVision” team) and will premiere on July 27, 2023 in Brazil.
