It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Episode 447 on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Early in the morning, Marius is again troubled by the boating accident. The pool of blood on the surface of the water continues to bother him. Moreover, he is sure that a swimmer or diver was hit. Greg calms him down though. If there was a boat nearby, they would have seen it. As for divers, they are equipped with fixable signal buoys. Convinced that he’s hit a bird, Greg wants to stop talking about the whole story to concentrate on the technical test that starts this afternoon. He then takes Marius in his arms to comfort him, unaware that Elliot is watching them from afar.

A little later, Noemi looks for Alban but can’t find him. He asks for help from Elliot, who unfortunately has no more information. The latter takes the opportunity to ask the chief if his brigade is ready for a technical test, which he confirms. Besides having a good team, Greg and Marius have great chemistry. The cook shrugs off Elliot’s reaction, explaining that it’s just alchemy at work. Only, it is difficult for the young man to see them so close to each other. It is true that they have known each other since childhood, but he does not forget that Marius was in love with his girlfriend. If he doesn’t hide his concern, Elliot refuses to approach Greg before the event.

Bad news threatens Chef Cardone’s team’s participation in the championship: his clerk has broken two fingers falling off his bicycle. Annabel is nervous and wants to find a replacement as soon as possible. Eliot, who had overheard the whole conversation, then offered to change it. If the chef takes a dim view of his proposal at first, he will eventually accept it.

The technical test will be announced when Greg crosses Elliott in the outfit of the senior Cardone brigade. The latter admits that he offered to help Annabelle because his clerk was injured. If Greg is somewhat upset, he still promises Marius that he won’t give him a present during the competition. But thunderous applause comes at the start of the championship: Albany has disappeared. The steward has not been found for several hours and cannot be contacted. Since the steward had not placed an order for the ingredients needed for the test, it was postponed to the next day. Greg immediately thinks that Alban is getting revenge on his father after being demoted, but Marius has a bad feeling.

Meanwhile, Teyssier’s brigade prepares to resume training when Salome encounters Swann. The young man notices very little frequent flow and offers the student to accompany him. Unfortunately, he is forced to refuse.

Albani’s disappearance worries Marius in particular, who decides to investigate with a hotel employee. He learned that the steward had gone to the beach yesterday afternoon. Moreover, it is famous for spear fishing. Information that particularly worries Marius, who wonders if he got it yesterday. To put things at ease once and for all, Greg suggested that he go and inspect the hull of the boat directly.

Marius and Greg go to the port. DeLabel’s son dives in and pulls out a cloth hanging from the boat’s propeller. Looking more closely, his friend realizes that it is a fragment of Albany’s kitchen jacket. Marius no longer doubts: he was killed.

Before starting work at the Pop-Up, Charlene spends some time in Louis’ arms. The young woman summarizes their plan: she must sow discord in the brigade so that Clotilda notices that Hortense and Mehdi cannot run the restaurant. For starters, her boyfriend advises her to make things worse with Lionel, who can’t stand losing to the couple.

After the previous day’s disastrous service, Hortense and Mehdi want today’s service to be perfect. The young chef offers Charlene a second time, which she accepts without hesitation. When they return to their post, Hortense decides to look at Lionel cooking vegetables in the oven. According to him, he should reduce the temperature so as not to lose the juices. So Charlene takes advantage of a classmate’s remark to manipulate Lionel. Laetitia decides to accompany him to the Pop-Up and takes the opportunity to discuss her situation with Guillaume. But Kelly has not changed her mind and believes that her mother should put herself in her friend’s place. According to him, Laetitia does not understand that she has been talking about Tony constantly for a week.

On her daughter’s advice, Leticia finds Tony at Riviere’s table and tells him that they should not see each other for a while. Indeed, the young woman wants to keep the couple, because she has never had such a stable relationship in her life. If Tony understands the situation, he can hardly hide his pain.

Back at the Institute, Leticia tells Guillaume about her discussion with Tony. Since he doesn’t understand why she has come this far, the secretary explains that it seemed more appropriate to do it in person than over the phone. If Guillaume is defensive, Laetitia promises him that she won’t hear from her ex-lover again, which reassures him. The couple finally reconciled.

Later, Gaitan calls Guillaume at the park because he needs to order sandbags for his next lesson. The deputy headmaster takes this opportunity to ask if Tony often talks to him about Laetitia. The professor admits that this has happened several times and claims that there is no ambiguity between them. Moreover, every time Laetitia visited him, she saw nothing between them.
