Netflix has released the poster and subtitled trailer for the anime “Tekken: Bloodline”, based on the popular game “Tekken”. The preview shows the protagonist’s arduous training and a multitude of fights.
The animated series tells the origins of Jin Kazama, one of the main characters of fighting games – introduced in “Tekken 3”, released for PlayStation in 1997.
In the plot, Kazama learned the art of family self-defense from her mother when she was still very young. But since he has failed to stop him murdering him, he decides to learn the attacking technique from the Mishima family, his most notorious relatives, turning his body into a weapon seeking revenge.
The path of perfection also leads him to the greatest fighting competition of all time, where he crosses paths with many other famous characters from the games, such as Paul Phoenix, Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya, King and even the recent Leroy Smith, who made the his debut in “Tekken 7”.
“Tekken: Bloodline” will debut on August 18th.
