Brad Pitt admits he is in the final years of his acting career

In 2022, Brad Pitt gave an interview to GQ in which he declared that he was in the “final stages” of his time as an actor. The statement, naturally, generated several rumors about his retirement soon.

Now, the star has decided to explain himself better about these apparent final stages of his acting career. He also talked about how he has been enjoying his life for a few years now.

The 60-year-old actor talked again with the magazine, now in the company of his friend George Clooneywith whom he co-stars in wolveshis only work in the field for 2024. First, Brad admitted to still following the same steps.

I’m still on the same trajectory. I feel the same. I’m really just trying to enjoy the people I love around me and just living.”

Afterwards, the star decided to further clarify the comment made in the previous interview. He assured that he used the term “final stages” as a metaphor for facing some changes in his life, something that makes him think about what his next few years will be like.

I meant that as if they were the seasons. You know, I was leaving my comfort zone. You embark on these things and it’s all about discoveries. It’s interesting, painful, horrible and all that. When you get into a big box, it becomes another game of responsibilities and things to answer for. But it’s also opportunities, pleasure and working with people you respect.
