Still produced by Caoa Montadora, but now available throughout Hyundai’s dealer network, the Tucson features design updates
The Hyundai Tucson returns to the Brazilian market. It continues to be produced in Brazil by Caoa Montadora, but now, under the new agreement between the Brazilian and Korean companies, the Tucson will be sold in all Hyundai dealerships. The price is competitive: R$189,990.
The domestic Hyundai Tucson received a new chrome front grille and a modernized design of LED headlights and taillights, as well as 18-inch diamond-cut wheels and new bumpers. The idea is to be a competitive SUV like the Creta, but with a higher positioning and without the same sales volume.
The Hyundai Tuycson is also equipped with six airbags and important safety features, such as rear cross-traffic collision warning and blind spot detector, as well as comforts such as the panoramic sunroof, electric trunk opening, digital climate control with two zones and electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats.

Equipped with a 1.6 Turbo GDI petrol engine, the domestic Hyundai Tucson has 177 HP of power and 265 Nm of torque. The 7-speed DCT transmission features software updates that more effectively control the clutch engagement at the right time at low speeds. According to the manufacturer, with this modification the handling has become smoother.
