Halloween Ends trailer teases a deadly final showdown for Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie and Michael Myers

In 2018 the Halloween The franchise got a bright and surprising rejuvenation. Ignoring most of the established canon, director David Gordon Green established a new timeline in the series, and in doing so reintroduced the epic battle between Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode and mysterious slasher Michael Myers. Four years later, this story is ready to culminate and tonight we have a fantastic twist with the first trailer of end of halloween (whose incoming producer Jason Blum teased a little over a week ago).

Set up later Halloween killswhich saw Michael Myers nearly defeated before embarking on one of his signature murders, the new film reaches Laurie Strode as she seeks revenge not only on the friends she has lost over the years to Michael, but also on her daughter, who was sacrificed in the last moments of the last film.

So how is Laurie going to get the better of Michael this time around? Of course, we won’t know the full answer to this question until end of halloween will be released in theaters, but an interesting aspect of this trailer is that it appears to be primarily one that manages the cat and mouse games. There are two different moments in the sequence where Laurie is ready and waiting for Michael as she slowly and silently passes by, starting with the first big thrill of the trailer, which shows Laurie standing behind a door with a gun in her hand:

Of course, we must also discuss the exciting conclusion of the end of halloween trailer. With premiere shooting earlier this year at CinemaCon 2022, we see a fight between Laurie and Michael in a kitchen, and he’s about to reach into an active garbage can. Luckily, she can disable him momentarily with a nice reverse butt and use her moment of freedom to grab a chef’s knife and stab him in the hand.

Lasting just one minute and 16 seconds, this one end of halloween The trailer doesn’t exactly give us a detailed look at the upcoming horror blockbuster, but it definitely does its job, namely, it makes us excited and ready for the upcoming film’s arrival. It’s the kind of movie where you absolutely don’t want the trailer to reveal too much.
