The ideal ‘Fantastic Four’ cast, according to fans: John Krasinski would return as Mr. Fantastic

As part of Phase Four of the MCU, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has revealed that there will be a Fantastic Four “reboot” and even its cast has reportedly been leaked online.

Little is currently known about the project, and beyond the alleged online leak, The DisInsider Show claimed to have information that on July 18, 2022, Marvel will reveal the main cast of the film at the D23 Expo 2022 in September.

However, since the project was announced in 2019, fans have expressed their desire for certain actors to play the “Fantastic Four” and several have become crowd favorites.

The ideal ‘Fantastic Four’ cast according to fans

According to a leak that surfaced online, comedian Seth Rogen would be in charge of the role of Ben Grimm/The Thing in the next ‘Fantastic Four’ film in the MCU.

But fans also expressed their desire to see Jason Segel (“How I Met Your Mother”) as La Mole, his name in Spanish. This was also mentioned as a possibility by The DisInsider Show.

Johnny Storm/Human Torch

In the case of Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, he is said to be played by Rudy Pankow (“Outer Banks” and “Uncharted”).

But another name heard for the character is that of Zac Efron and even the actor, in an interview for Extra Tv on May 3, 2022, assured that he was ready to join the MCU.

Other actors that fans are calling for as Johnny Storm thanks to his youth, charisma and good looks are “Stranger Things” stars Joe Keery and Dacre Montgomery.

Sue Storm/Invisible Woman

As Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Elizabeth Lail (“Once Upon a Time,” “You,” “Gossip Girl” and “Countdown”) is said to be responsible for bringing her to life in the reboot.

Another name is that of Bryce Dallas Howard (“Spider-Man 3” and “Jurassic World Dominion”), even in May in a TikTok video the actress signs a game of the character to the influencer Andrés Navy. Although she said it’s just rumours, many fans want to see her as Sue Storm.

Since John Krasinski has already played a version of Reed Richards in the MCU, fans believe the logical choice for the character’s wife is the actor’s real-life partner: Emily Blunt.

Finally, the name of actress Amanda Seyfried (“Dropout”, “Mean Girls” and “Ted 2”) is another one that has recently been heard as the Invisible Woman on the big screen.

Many fans are hoping that after appearing in ‘Doctor Strange 2’ John Krasinski will reprise his role as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (“A Quiet Place” and “The Office”) in the upcoming film.

Fans have also expressed that actor Jamie Dornan (“Fifty Shades of Grey,” “Belfast” and “The Tourist”) could make a good Mr. Fantastic on the big screen.
