A new obsession with Mistral

Aya and Kylian grace the Bar-Restaurant Le Mistral. Suddenly, a young man announces to his girlfriend that he has received five New Year’s calendars, full of little words to think about, including one that catches his attention: “The return of the cuckoo threatens to collapse the nest.” Killian wonders if this could be related to Baptiste’s return.

At Massalia’s residence, Yolande received the exact same calendar. Jules and Morgan are intrigued to discover the little words hidden inside with her. A young policeman discovers the first message and immediately kisses his girlfriend. The reason is written on this word: “Kissing a loved one is the key to happiness.”

Interested, Jules opens the second box of the calendar: “The comfort of an anonymous person feeds the soul and its ignorance destroys it.” Yolande advises Jules to respect his mission, but he prefers to let her go. Jules then discovers that the bike’s lock has been broken.

To clear her conscience, she decides to hug a stranger. Contrary to all expectations, the man thanks her for this gesture, which has done him a favor, considering that he has just received bad news: his trip to Reunion Island has been canceled because he did not have enough money to finance it. Jules doesn’t believe it. What if this calendar predicted the future?

Return of Baptiste, Emma and Matisse

With just a few days left until Christmas, it’s time to decorate the house of Thomas (Laurent Kerussore) and Gabrielle. Both spouses want everything ready for Mattis’ arrival. Suddenly someone knocks on the door: it’s Emma, Baptiste and the baby. Everyone has a smile on their face.

Thomas and Gabrielle are enjoying the opportunity to revise their English with this little family straight from Australia. Emma informs her two father-in-laws that Baptiste has not made any progress in English, which surprises the couple.

Later, Baptiste goes to Mistral with his father. Suddenly, Killian arrives, happy to see his nephew. He asks if he’s too tired from the time difference, but Baptiste says no.

To learn more about Australia, Killian asks the young man a lot of tourist questions, but the latter replies that he has not studied the country. Thomas is surprised and tells his son that he better enjoy himself.

Suddenly, Baptiste’s gaze falls on a family photo, where Roland Mark can be seen in the center. He takes the opportunity to reminisce with his grandfather. Thomas says: “He would be very pleased to see us gathered here.”

Anthony is ahead of Vanessa

In a secluded corner by the sea in Marseille, Vanessa (Agathe de la Boulaye) meets Anthony (Mickaël Bourse). A businessman tries to negotiate with a young man, he gives a bag full of letters in exchange for a letter stolen from a safe. Anthony refuses to negotiate, collects a few tickets for his expenses, and then sets off on his back to Mistralien.

A few minutes later, Vanessa meets Apolline (Zoé Laïb) for coffee. A businessman requests help with a personal service: “I need you to find a woman who worked in Marseille in the 2000s, her name is Miriam Toussaint and she is a nurse in a maternity ward.

Vanessa then gives Apollin some details: “I need you Anthony before you come to him.” The law student gradually realizes the complexity of his mission. Indeed, he must be as careful as possible, for neither Ulysses nor Ophelia must discover him.

A few minutes later, Apollin goes to Mistral’s medical office to get information from Babette. The latter informs him that he knew Mirian and that he adored her. That’s not all, he tells Apollina that this woman has been retired since 2004. “She received the inheritance and moved inland with her husband.”

On the other hand, Ulysses (Jeremy Charvet) is summoned by Boher to the police. The policeman is interested in the safe and is surprised that nothing was stolen: “Anthony Sharon is out of control, so if he was there last Friday, you should tell us.” However, Odysseus prefers to remain silent.

As he continues his mission, Apolline meets Anthony not far from Miriam Toussaint’s house. The latter informs him with some arrogance that they have arrived too late : “He died, he had a heart attack last summer.”

But Miriam’s husband gave Anthony valuable documents. He said to the young woman: “Tell your boss that I have a lot of evidence against him, including a statement signed by Miriam Toussaint who admits to receiving 200,000 bullets from him”. Furthermore, Anthony concludes: “Tell him I want three times the money now.”
