Ten percent, the movie: bad news for the impatient!

4 years after the end of ten percent of the series (which aired its 4th season in the fall of 2020), where are we with the feature film project?

For some time now, there have been several projects for a movie or a TV movie, with the aim of completing the adventures of our favorite star agents from the small screen.

The movie project was confirmed by Fani Herrero, the creator of the series:I started writing again for the Ten Percent. Not for the series, which ended with season 4 more than two years ago, but for its expansion into a motion picture“, he revealed in the Inrocks column in January 2023. We learned at the same time that the script was co-written with comedian Leeson Daniels.

The team will be complete

Thibaut de Montalbert (Mathias Barneville in the series) confirmed that there would be no continuation of the series. TV Mag’s Buzz TV :”There won’t be a fifth season, but a movie being written with Fanny Herrero and Leeson Daniels.

I don’t know the story at all, but the team will be complete. It’s a real challenge because there are so many of us and it will be hard to fit everyone into one film!“

Filming in October 2025?

Thanks to our colleagues at Ciné-Télé-Revue in Belgium (M SudInfo), we offer some more news from the project. Producer Dominik Besnehard confirms that the film is still being planned, but we’ll have to wait a little longer.

“It’s quite difficult because all our actors are in high demand, have big careers now, everywhere. But still everyone wants to participate in the film, whether it will be for the theater or for the platform, we don’t know yet. We have to shoot this next October!”

Directed by Valerie Donzel

Another major revelation: Valerie Donzel will be directing this film, which will close the series. The Belgian magazine also lists him as a screenwriter, not specifying if he will add to the work already started by Fanny Herrero and Leeson Daniel, or if this is a new departure for the film project.

There are still supposed to be guests in the film, but the names are still being withheld pending final arrangements.

The Ten Percent series ran for 4 seasons and was a major critical and public success, especially internationally. The series was also released in several countries, including the UK.

The busy schedule of the actors was used to explain the abandonment of season 5. All the actors and actresses revealed by the series are full of projects.
