The group’s business expansion targets a turnover of R$1 billion by 2030
Omelete Company, organizer of CCXP and gamescom Latam, has announced another investment. From now on, Anime Friends will be part of your Live Experience business unit. The news was made official during Unlock CCXP24 by the executives of both brands: Pierre Mantovani, CEO of Omelete Company, together with Renato Fabri, Chief Live XP Officer of the group and Diego Ragonha and Juliano Anitelli, partners of Anime Friends. With the acquisition, the holding company led by Mantovani confirms the full expansion of the business, aiming for revenues of 1 billion reais by 2030.
The announcement of this movement comes just two days after the opening of the doors of the eleventh edition of CCXP, an event that increasingly invests in the contents of oriental pop culture. This year, CCXP’s credentials include Crunchyroll anime, there’s also the new Asia-focused Universe stage, and the first K-Drama panel produced by Disney+.
“With the addition of Anime Friends, Omelete Company not only strengthens its position as a leader in pop culture events in Latin America, but further diversifies its reach, offering new opportunities for audiences and brands to connect”said Renato Fabri, who in 2023 announced the first edition of CCXPMX, in Mexico, in addition to the partnership with the German company Koelnmesse to hold Gamescom Latam in Sao Paulo.
The manager Juliano Anitelli reiterates the importance of this product for the young audience and the new opportunities that open up with the arrival of Omelete. “A new path, which not only expands opportunities but professionalizes this incredible product.”
Together, the total audience of the three events (CCXP, gamescom latam and Anime Friends) represents a potential of over 500 thousand people, allowing for cultural exchange and the creation of new experiences. Unpublished data from the Geek Power 2024 survey, conducted by Omelete Company in collaboration with GoGamers, indicates that there is a potential consumer market of R$100 billion per year.
