Superman and Lois: How the Series Ends?

It’s time to say goodbye… The CW aired the final episode of Superman & Lois this Monday, December 2nd. After 4 years of good and faithful service, the superhero series led by Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch has just bowed out with an emotional finale.

A tragic end for the Kent family

In the first half of the episode, Clark faced off against Lex Luthor and Doomsday, with the help of his sons Jordan (Alexander Garfin) and Jonathan (Michael Bishop), who joined forces to save their father from death.

But instead of worrying about the consequences of this fight, screenwriters Todd Helbing and Brent Fletcher decided to focus on what they do best: show a superhero who lives quietly for the rest of his life.

The episode actually jumps 30 years later. A future in which Clark hangs up his cape to work on solving his community’s problems while watching his sons start their own families and take up the mantle.

Unfortunately, all is not rosy for Superman. Lois’s cancer finally returns. After her death, Clarke spends the rest of her days with her dog before breaking her heart in the final moments of the episode and finally finding the love of her life.

The showrunners recall the finale of Superman & Lois

The two showrunners apparently took a risk by ending the series with the deaths of two of its main characters, but they confided in the interview. TVLine That everyone supported them in this decision.

In general, everyone had the same reaction.Todd Helbing explained. “We have received many messages and emails from people who have read the script and cried their eyes out. It was truly rewarding. That’s what we wanted, an ending that would stick in people’s heads for a long time..” A mission that the two authors managed to achieve with flying colors.

At this time, no French broadcast date has been announced for Superman 1 Lois Season 4. It should be coming to TF1 in the coming months.
