On Thursday, December 5, a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Eric falls under Bahram’s spell
Arriving at the Flower Pavilion, Blanche makes an incredible discovery: Eric and Bahram have spent the night here. And for good reason, the two men talked until five in the morning: “We didn’t see the time that was passing.”
Bahram leaves and thanks Eric for this evening. Once alone with Blanche, Eric said to her: “nothing happened”But he answers: “You have to be careful not to misinterpret it. It would be wise to clarify the situation.”
A few hours later, Blanche takes in a single mother who is in dire financial straits. The latter explains to him that he may have found a job as a cleaner on a boat, but that is why he has to look after his son. Blanche informs the young woman that she is going to call all the families in the surrounding area: “Don’t despair, we will find a solution.”
Eric, on the other hand, makes a date with Bahram to find out. He begins by telling her: “There was no ulterior motive.” But against all odds, Bahram asks Eric: “Do you regret what happened?”
Eric is surprised that the man is asking him this question. Then Bahram adds:“I left Iran because of my homosexuality, loving another man there can be condemned to death.” Eric is concerned but not displeased to hear the news.
Ophel breaks off her relationship with her family
At Massalia’s residence, Vanessa (Agathe de la Boulaye) came to talk to Ophel. The young woman said to her mother: “Biologically I am not your daughter (…) So who am I Columbus? Faced with Ofel’s questions, Vanessa answers him: “Do you want to go somewhere with me, I have to show you something.”
It was after this discussion that two women found themselves in a cemetery, in front of the grave of Columbine, who was born and died on December 17, 2003. Then Vanessa spoke: “In this grave lies the body of a little girl who was born with you and died soon after, in the same hospital.” Vanessa continues: “Twenty years ago I gave birth to a little girl who did not survive and who was buried there.”
After this terrible birth, Miriam Toussaint placed in Vanessa’s arms a little girl whose parents were violent: “He knew what horrors awaited you, so he asked you to be a surprise gift to him.”
Shocked by what she has just learned, Ofel tells Vanessa: “Didn’t you ask someone’s opinion?” He then asks if her father knew, and Vanessa says no. Ophel calls out: “You’re crazy! That’s why I feel bad, I’m changing a dead baby.”
Later, Ofel finds Ulysses (Jeremy Charvette) in Mistral. He explains to her that this situation does not change anything in their relationship. But Ophel realizes that her brother knew about it for days and didn’t say anything.
Upset, he asks her: “Why am I always this poor girl that no one talks to, what’s wrong with you?” Ulises defends his mother and explains to his little sister that she could have lived in an abusive family, but Ofel doesn’t want to hear anything. He confides to Ulysses: “I don’t want to be a part of this anymore. Kepler is over.”Then he leaves.
After that, Ophel finds solace in her friend Aya. She confides in him: “I don’t feel like Vanessa and Ulis are my family anymore. He then wonders if his biological parents would.
Emma is seeing another man
Emma, on the other hand, takes advantage of the sunny morning and drinks coffee on the Mistral terrace. But this moment of peace is interrupted by a phone call. One of his meetings scheduled for the afternoon was postponed to the morning.
As she leaves, Thomas (Laurent Kerussore) tries to hold her back, but the young woman tells him she’s freezing and prefers to get back into the heat. At the same time, his phone starts ringing again and he filters the call.
Once alone, he calls to book a taxi, then immediately gets up from the chair and forgets his crutches. Yolande watches the scene without a beat. A few minutes later, Yolande informs Thomas that her daughter-in-law, in a decisive move, has left without a limp and headed for 2 Boulevard du Cap.
At the same time, Baptiste, Gabriel and Matis are enjoying a sunny day in the countryside. But the young man is no match for her. And for good reason, someone keeps harassing her over the phone.
Later that day, Emma goes to a luxury hotel, but she doesn’t know that she is being closely followed by Thomas. While she tries to remain discreet, the owner of Le Mistral restaurant gets a call from her husband saying that Baptiste is spending her time arguing with a man on the phone.
Thomas hangs up and continues to monitor Emma’s every move. Suddenly he sees him talking to a young man of his age… Then they go to the room.
