Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Thursday, December 5, 2024 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Mark confronts Catherine

It’s midnight when Mark returns from Marie-Sophie’s evening. When Leonor tries to find out where he was, the journalist makes her think he was working on his article. An answer that infuriates Leonore, who thinks her editor-in-chief is overburdening her. Mark claims that this is not the case. If Leonor is surprised that her companion protects Marie-Sophie, she is also surprised that he calls her by her name. He then pushes her to keep it from happening and burst the abscess with her. Mark then confesses to her that this is what he did today.

The next morning, Sohan asks his wife where she was last night, to which Marie-Sophie replies that she spent the evening with her colleagues to relax. Obviously, a new argument breaks out in the couple. Charlotte, who overhears them arguing, then realizes that it would be better for them to break up.

Later, Marie-Sophie and Marc arrive together at Midi Libre. The latter immediately appears as an accomplice, which is not missed by the editorial director, who is happy to see that things are getting better between them.

Later, Mark meets Catherine. Although he initially believes that the journalist has come to write an article about his career, the businessman becomes disillusioned when he mentions potential fraudulent methods at the Poppy Center. He also tells her that he is in contact with patients who have been prescribed medical procedures that have nothing to do with their pathology. Although he’s very upset to think about her, Evan unfortunately can’t bring himself to move his family because of everything that’s going on at the moment.

Later, Evans received a call from Ludivine Kleber. The latter explains to him that he is looking for a head of the emergency department to supervise a team of 18 surgeons at a salary of 140,000 euros per year. Although he has strong arguments, Evan points out that he has a family, but still agrees to consider his proposal.

At the end of the day, Chloe and Evan are at the psychologist. Although she realizes that they are making progress on the communication path, Chloe still feels like she is walking on eggshells. In his eyes, their relationship lacks lightness and spontaneity. When he wants to know what will allow them to find companionship again, Chloe replies that she needs to feel safe. After what happened, Chloe lost her trust in her husband. To calm himself, therefore, he needs a solid and stable frame.

On the way home, Evan suggests his wife go to a restaurant for dinner, which she happily accepts before kissing him.
