As the Christmas holidays approach, TF1 continues to offer new Christmas TV movies every afternoon with the smell of cinnamon and hot chocolate.
And this Thursday, December 5, viewers will be able to watch the Father Christmas Festival from 14:20, an opus never seen before in France that will transport them directly into the atmosphere of the end of the year celebrations.
Judy (Hunter King), Ava (Amy Groening), and Stella (Stephanie Sy), three single best friends, teach art, math, and English, respectively, at Garden City College. Before Christmas, they decide to attend Santa’s party to spend time together and get out of their comfort zone.
This day will change the lives of all three. Judy actually meets Liam (Benjamin Hollingsworth) on the street by chance. They fall in love with each other, but lose sight of each other in the crowd. With the help of his brother Mack, Liam will try to find Judy, and in turn he will also search for her with Stella and Ava.
The Young and the Restless star in a TV movie
The most observant viewer could not have noticed that the main character of this Christmas romance is played by the star of “The Young and the Restless”. In fact, it is the Hunter King who lends his qualities to Judy’s character.
The actress who is none other than Joey King’s sister Summer Newman has been playing the role for over 10 years. However, she was replaced in 2022 by Alison Lanier. At the time, he confided in the podcast that he loved playing the character all these years.
“But when things happen, there are a number of reasons why… I hope summer will always be a part of my life in one way or another. He has a very important place in my heart.”
In addition to his role in Santa in 2023, Hunter King starred this winter in Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, a Christmas TV movie loosely inspired by the love story between singer Taylor Swift and American football player Travis Kelce.
