A public official was arrested red-handed by the federal police suspected of having used an electronic workstation during a public tender of the Superior Electoral Tribunal last Sunday, 8th, in Recife (PE).

According to the agency, the boy also attempted to flee from the test site with the question book, when he was detained and arrested. The action was carried out with the aim of identifying and arresting suspects of using electronic equipment with the aim of defrauding the public tender.

The boy was sent to trial and is responsible for the crime of fraud in an event of public interest, with a prison sentence of one to four years, in addition to the fine, plus 1/3 because he is a public official. The PF is now continuing its investigations to identify other individuals involved in the criminal practice.
