Faced with a fire near the beach, Baptiste and Justin immediately respond. They manage to extinguish it with fire extinguishers. Emma, who observes them from a distance, does not escape their complicity.
However, the next day, Baptiste tells his wife that Justin is nothing more than a co-worker and that she doesn’t need to be jealous.
Emma goes to Kevin, but it’s not the last time. He then discusses with Camille his plan to file a complaint to start an investigation into Cesar’s disturbing disappearance. Camille promises to pass the message on to Kevin, then turns the conversation to Justin and Baptiste. Emma takes the fly and tells her sister to stay out of her business.
Meanwhile, Baptiste and Justen try to understand the origin of the fire the night before. They come across a shell that looks like incense. They are interrupted by their instructor who instructs them to sell raffle tickets.
At Place du Mistral, Justin continues his research on the Internet. The shell they found is an abalone shell used in shamanic rituals for its slow burning. Baptist suggests that this is the signature of a burn. She entrusts the raffle tickets to Thomas to sell them to Marci and returns to the beach with Justin.
The two teammates continue to flirt. Several pieces of abalone shell are found around the beach, which seems to confirm Baptiste’s hypothesis…
Before Eric has to go into town, Simon promises to talk to the neighbor to convince him to fix the water problem.
Arriving in front of the police station, Eric observes Vautrin pointing a gun at the officer while ordering Ariane to take the car keys and flee. The tension is rising. Eric comes up behind Vautrin and hits him with his baton, saving the day for his colleague.
Later, Ariane asks Eric to accompany her to celebrate her 15-year career at Leo’s for the week. At the same time, Eric receives a message from Simon, who admits defeat to his neighbor. Eric accepts Ariane’s proposal on the condition that she do him a favor.
He goes to see Roger Mallard to give him a list of his crimes. As he looks for a way to negotiate, Ariane suggests re-watering the canal.
Lola can’t stand being on Mistral less and less. She urges Killian to convince Thomas and Gabrielle to let her go alone. Killian first approaches Gabriel, suggesting that Lola would rather have a summer job to clear her mind than a family vacation.
Killian did come up with a plan: to trick Thomas and Gabrielle into believing that Lola is going to work at an animal shelter in the Gap, where she will also be housed. In fact, Lola will go hiking alone. To make his plan believable, he created a fake email account to pretend to be the director of the shelter and talk to Gabrielle.
Convinced, the latter joins Thomas at Marci’s to talk to him about it. But the restaurant owner thinks it’s a bad idea. Gabrielle still texts Lola, who lets her pack.
