The master of horror has something to say about one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time: Alien! Ridley Scott’s film rated 4.4 out of 5, Stephen King did not leave indifferent, because already in 1981, barely two years after the release of the film, the author that Attacked by an alien. Actress Sigourney Weaver plays Ripley, whose space crew kills an alien creature called the Xenomorph.

and the media Collider found that in his collection of short stories Macabre danceStephen King creates a short horror story in which he goes back to the first film in particular Alien By Ridley Scott:

The girl was fine until she got naked

“(…) Alien, where the two female crew members are presented in a completely gender-neutral way until the climax, where Sigourney Weaver has to fight a terrifying interstellar hitchhiker who has managed to climb into her small space rescue boat during this final battle, Ms. Weaver is dressed in bikini bottoms and a thin T-shirt And, at this point, with any of Dracula’s victims out there Hammer firm since the sixties. The idea seems to be, “The girl was fine until she took her clothes off.”

A fairly clear vision, which the author pushes a little too far, lamenting the poor writing of one of the last scenes of the film:

Sigourney Weaver

“Sigourney Weaver’s character, hitherto presented as a strong-willed heroine, causes the destruction of the mother ship Nostromo (and possibly contributes to the deaths of the other two crew members) by rescuing a cat. allowing the men in the audience to relax, open their eyes, and say out loud or telepathically, “That’s a woman, isn’t it?”

“This is a twist that depends on the credibility of the sexist idea, and we can answer the above question in turn: “Isn’t this just a chauvinist male pig? A Hollywood screenwriter?” This little gratuitous twist doesn’t ruin the movie, but it’s still a bit of a shame.”
