Dudu shows the cups won at Palmeiras: ‘A bit of my history’

The striker has a contract until the end of 2025, but is unlikely to stay at the club; Cruzeiro and Santos are interested

The striker is close to leaving Palmeiras Dudu posted on his social networks on Tuesday 10th, showing all 33 individual and collective trophies won with the club. In the photo he shows both the cups won with the team and the individual prizes. Despite having a contract until the end of 2025, Dudu is not expected to remain at the club next season.

In the image the attacker appears sitting on a staircase, surrounded by trophies. “A little about my history at Palmeiras,” wrote Dudu. With 12 cups with Palmeiras, he is the athlete who has won the most titles in the club. There were one Copa do Brasil, one Supercup do Brasil, one Recopa, two Libertadores, three Campeonatos Paulistas and four Campeonatos Brasileiros.

The attacker’s imminent departure is nothing new. In the middle of the year he was announced by Cruzeiro, but he backtracked and ended up at Palmeiras. Last Sunday, 8th, in the last round of the Brasileirão, Dudu entered the field in the second half of the 1-0 defeat against Fluminense in what should have been his farewell with the Alviverde shirt.

One of the clubs interested in having the striker next season is Santos. Cruzeiro continues to monitor the situation at Dudu, the club where it was revealed.
