What happened to Fred Lecomte?

After a strange encounter with Roman at the Christmas market the day before, Victoire takes him home so he can spend the night. While she’s still asleep, Victoire discusses the situation with her roommates: Roman will be Freddy’s niece, Victoire’s high school sweetheart, from whom she hasn’t heard from. Soraya urges her friend to inform the police.

At the police station, Georges reads the novel in the presence of Victoire. A little girl announces that her father is dead and her mother can no longer care for her for reasons she cannot reveal. Besides, he doesn’t know why his uncle came to Seth.

Victoire offers a break and walks down the corridor with Georges. According to him, the facts are too light to start an investigation. He suggests that Freddie was no longer responsible for taking care of Romane and that he made sure she confided in someone before she disappeared. Victoria, on the other hand, suspects that something serious has happened.

Back at home, Victoire asks Samuel to watch Romané that evening as she is called away. They then force the little girl to eat by making pancakes. A little later, Georges comes to see Victoire to inform her about his research.

In particular, he found traces of Romane’s mother, Lorena, who had been imprisoned for 6 months in Rennes for the murder of a colleague at the chocolate factory where she worked not far from Paris. He allegedly caught her stealing money and things got out of hand. Since then, Freddie has been in charge of Romane. According to Georges, he was, at first glance, a temporary professor who took very good care of his niece.

To find out more, Georges decides to question Romane again to find out why his uncle came to the set. The little girl finished by saying that she had an important meeting to get her mother out of prison. She repeats that he told her to meet him at the Victoire Christmas market if he wasn’t back at the hotel by 4 o’clock.

Escorting Georges outside, Victoire insists that an investigation begin. She also offers him to get the investigation files from the time if Lorena is innocent. Indeed, Victoire fully believes that Fred can take the risks to get his sister out of prison if justice is sought. Georges accepts, then recommends that Victoire call social services to take over with Romanes.

In the evening, Victoire goes to the hospital with Roman. He discusses the situation with Christel, who confirms that social services can take care of the little girl immediately. So Victoire explains to Roman that she will leave him in good hands, and then says goodbye. But at the last moment, the little girl runs to Victoire and begs him not to leave her…

Sebastian is still in a coma

At the hospital, Rafael is very worried about his father, who is still in a coma. Martin is there to support her through this difficult ordeal. Rafael is grateful to his partner for everything he has done since the beginning of this novel.

Meanwhile, Simon meets Maud at the spoon and takes the opportunity to get some news from Sebastian and Camille. Maud suggests that she send the message directly to her sister, but Simon prefers to let her breathe. Before she leaves, Modi confesses to her that she was wrong about him and now admits that he is a good person. Simon says that his relationship with Camille really changed him.

At the end of the day, Camille and Rafael meet at the hospital. Camille takes over from her mother at Sebastian’s bedside. He takes the opportunity to apologize to her, regretting not heeding Zack’s warnings. He promises her to be more careful from now on. Rafael comforts his daughter and tells her how proud he is of her because it was thanks to her that the police caught Zack.

Ben flirts with Rachel

At the hospital, Chloe encourages Ben to try his luck with Rachel, since the latter is not in the group, but in the neighborhood with Bart and Timothy. For this, Chloe gives Benny the bus pass that Rachel forgot the last time she came to St. Clair. A good excuse to reconnect with him.

As Ben prepares to call Rachel, the rug is pulled out from under him. Indeed, it is Rachel who contacts him first and asks for his bus pass. Ben agrees to come and take her home. There, Rachel lets him in and offers him coffee. As they begin to discuss their trip, Timothy returns home and surprises them together.

In the evening, Bart and Timothy share their worries with Rachel. The latter is well aware that Ben was hitting him, but says that it does not bother him. He feels that she is not dangerous, then adds that she should return to normal life, including contact with men.
