And, unsurprisingly, Disney’s Christmas 2024 continues to dominate theaters with a cumulative total that already stands at more than 4 million viewers. Less for the celebratory aspect than the fact that Edward Berger’s religious thriller seems to be generating genuine interest among audiences, as evidenced by its very good average viewers per copy (612), the best since Moana 2 .

There is a film ahead that is competing for six Golden Globes Gladiator IIwhich continues the way and After them their childrenWhich was disappointing to begin with given the potential of the Nicholas Matthews book for two million readers from which it was adapted. In one week, it’s doing little more than L’Amour ouf, another long-running 90s love story to which it’s being compared, but which has been in theaters for almost two months.

However, directors Ludovic and Zoran Bucherma achieved their biggest success to date, ahead of the Year of the Shark. And, again, the holidays can help them think bigger at the box office.

In the rest of the ranking, Juror #2 It became the eighth biggest success of Clint Eastwood’s directorial career in France as his latest feature beat J. Edgar, The Exchange and Madison Avenue in a matter of days. Will it be able to match The Mule’s 1,860,358, or even Beyond’s 1,905,487? Judgment soon.
