New feature film from Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man Universe, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Bullet Train), should end the franchise in theaters

Kraven: The Hunterthe new film in the Spider-Man Universe from Sony Pictures, which could put an end to the supervillain franchise, opens in Brazilian cinemas starting this Thursday, December 12th.

What is the story of Kraven: The Hunter?

Created by by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Kraven is one of the most well-known enemies of Spider-Man and made his comic book debut in The Amazing Spider-Man nº 15, from 1964. He is a modified human, descendant of a family of hunters, obsessed with capturing and killing the Friendly Neighbor.

In the film, the villain is played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Bullet Train) and the cast also includes Russell Crowe (Gladiator), Fred Hechinger (Street of Fear), Ariana DeBose (Love, Sublime Love) and Levi Miller (Peter Pan).

Kraven: The Hunter is directed by JC Chandor (Operation Border) based on the duo’s script Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man) together with Richard Wenk (The Protector). Watch the new trailer below:
