Kurt Russell will star in a TV series for the first time in 45 years – his son Wyatt will become his colleague

American actor Kurt Russell will star in the TV series Godzilla and the Titans. For Russell, the show will be the first TV project since 1977, writes Deadline. His son Wyatt Russell, best known for his roles in The Woman in the Window and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will star alongside him. What roles will go to Kurt and Wyatt Russell has not yet been revealed.

The plot of the future series will be built around one family, which is forced to exist in a world where monsters have become real. Family members will have to uncover their secrets and learn more about the legacy of their ancestors associated with a secret organization called “Monarch”. The action will unfold in the same universe as the events of the movie “Godzilla vs. Kong”. Also participating in the project will be Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett and Eliza Lasowski.

The first two episodes of the series will be directed by WandaVision director Matthew Shackman. The show will be executive produced and written by Chris Black and Matt Frax. Godzilla and the Titans will be developed by Legendary Television.

Wyatt is the only son of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. He was born on July 10, 1986, three years after the actor divorced his first wife and began living with Goldie. Her children from a previous marriage to singer Bill Hudson, Oliver and Kate, recognized Russell as their true father. Kurt also has a son, Boston.
