Mark takes action

Mark is already working early in the morning. He is so engrossed in what he is doing that he doesn’t count Leonore out. Annoyed, the latter points out that lately it is no longer his priority and then leaves.

Louis, on the other hand, received bad news. His request for summary judgment was denied. Indeed, Lenny Vazquez has been fired, which means he can continue wearing these jerseys.

An enraged Louis waits for Lenny Vasquez at the base of his company, then accuses him of stealing Maeve’s paintings. Lenny, on the other hand, is a bit ironic. He then promises to pay the fine before specifying that money is no problem because his sales will explode. After biting off his ear, Lennie becomes threatening, hoping to provoke a fight so he can face Louie. However, the latter refuses to play his game.

Meanwhile, Marc informs Marie-Sophie and the director of Midi Libre that he received an anonymous call asking him to drop the investigation in exchange for a compensation of 100,000 euros. In order to prove that Laumier Sante is behind this trick, Mark wants to pretend to accept their offer, go to the meeting and film everything with a hidden camera. However, his superiors refuse because it is too dangerous. As he is advised to publish the article tomorrow, he has no choice but to accept it.

Later, the editorial director tells Mark and Marie-Sophie that he had the article proofread by the legal department. He urges them to emphasize suspicion rather than proven allegation to avoid a defamation lawsuit that could discredit the work they do.

In the evening, Mark and Marie-Sophie toast this beautiful and surprising collaboration. At the same time, the journalist receives a call from an unknown person who wants to know if he has thought about their proposal. Mark then points out that he won’t decide anything until he knows who he’s talking to. So his interlocutor informs him that he needs to make up his mind quickly if he doesn’t want them to come and visit again. After hanging up, Mark gives his article to print…

Enzo realizes that his father is not well

Hugo is angry. Needless to say, her landlord is making life hell and hasn’t paid her rent in six months. Sabine advises him to start eviction proceedings, but Hugo doesn’t have the courage to go.

On the other hand, Enzo visits his father at the hotel. And suffice it to say, with his line of work, the lawyer obviously doesn’t have time to tidy up his room, let alone go shopping, because everything in the fridge is past its expiration date.

A short while later, Enzo calls his mother and tells her his worries about Florentine. Indeed, the young man is left with the impression that his father lets himself go and does nothing to find an apartment. Sabine invites him to dinner to talk and get her mind off things.

At the end of the day, Florenti and Enzo arrive at Sabine and Hugo’s house. The atmosphere is friendly and Florent and Sabine share memories of Enzo’s childhood. An exchange that makes Hugo particularly uncomfortable. Sabine goes on to ask Florent if he can advise Hugo about the problem he is having with his lodger. The lawyer then offers him the next day at his office.

At the end of the meal Florent drank too much. As he prepares to leave, Sabine insists that he stay there and sleep.
