Un Si Grand Soleil: ‘Tears Flowed’… Lucas Ivula (Robin) Reacts to Chloe and Evan’s Departure

It’s time to say goodbye to Un si grand soleil!

This Friday, December 13, Chloe (Randiane Nall) and Evan (Guillaume Delorme) will say goodbye to Montpellier. In fact, they decided to settle in Nice to give their marriage a second chance.

Lucas Ivula, Robin’s translator in the series, spoke to Alocine about the departure of her fictional parents and what lies ahead for her character in the next episodes of the France 3 daily soap opera.

Allociné: What was your assessment after arriving at Un si grand soleil?

Luke walked away : When I came to the series, I did not think that Robin would take such a position. I’m thinking, for example, of the intrigue about Maeva’s expulsion. I really like Robin’s positions. I think that’s what led him to study law. I don’t know if Robin will become a lawyer, but I think she likes to protect the people she loves. I really like the development that he has had and at the same time I realize that he took on a lot of responsibility from the beginning.

A few months ago you said you wanted Robin to start a relationship with a guy and it’s already over. Are you happy the writers took your character on this trajectory?

I was really looking forward to the writers exploring this avenue. When Thiago’s character came, I was told that he and Robin had a love story. Except it’s been eight months since they got together. At one point I even thought that the writers had abandoned this story.

I saw that it happened that they took time to become a couple and most importantly, it was not a subject, I really liked it. It was really well written.

Robin and Tiago gradually establish themselves as the main couple in the series. What was the audience’s reaction to this love story?

I was a little scared because there is already a gay couple in the series. And since Robin had already gone out with the girls, I was afraid that the audience wouldn’t believe that my character was going crazy. But not at all! They tell me on the street or on social networks that Robin and Tiago are good together and that they are very cute. I received only positive feedback.

What awaits Robin and Tiago in the coming weeks?

Their relationship is going great. Evan and Chloe will leave Montpellier, and Robin will move in with Tiago. They will live together. A real solid little pair.

To save their marriage, Evan and Chloe decided to leave Montpellier and settle in Nice. How did you feel about the departure of Guillaume Delorme and Randian Nally?

These are pains in the heart. The last scenes I shot were mostly with Randian. She really is my baby mama. I heard that Guillaume and Randian were leaving the series when we were filming Evan’s kidnapping story. We were shooting very tense scenes between mother and daughter. If one cried, the other followed. We were already very close, now it got even stronger.

How did you feel about your last scenes together?

The last scene I shot with Randian was when Chloe and Evan left the apartment. Robin says goodbye to them and is left alone in the apartment with the boxes. Every time Randian’s head walked through the door, I burst into tears. We are really very close.

My last scene with Guillaume was more fun in tone. It was a scene between father and son. It was very disturbing. We are also very close.

Do you have any other projects outside of the show that you can talk about?

Each time I work on three plays with strong themes: Goyave de France, Chemical Love and Beyond.

I also recently shot a TV series for TF1 called Erica with Julie de Bona and Grigory Fitussi, which will be released in 2025. I am playing a role that is different from what I have done before. It’s a very beautiful role and I was really able to let go. I loved it.

I also appeared in Askip, in which I play myself. And then I finished writing a short film that I had to shoot soon.
