The Argentine striker will be out of action in August and is expected to return between March and April of next season
Striker Dinenno is recovering from a serious knee injury sustained in August this season. He continues to follow the treatments at Toca da Raposa, while his teammates enjoy their holidays after the end of the 2024 races.
Dinenno is expected to return to action in April 2025, meaning he still has at least four months of recovery work ahead of him. Despite this, the player will be released to participate in the end-of-year celebrations, resuming treatment during the general re-presentation of the squad.
Signed during Ronaldo’s reign, which ended in early 2024, Dinenno arrived at Cruzeiro with high expectations but is dealing with a series of injuries. In addition to pubic problems and a muscle injury, the attacker suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in August.
Despite these difficulties, the Argentine striker, whose contract runs until 2026, has recorded good numbers this season: he has scored eight goals in 22 games, being surpassed only by midfielder Matheus Pereira, who has scored 11 times in 2024 .
