Band, loud sound and lack of production sabotage the final party of “A Fazenda 16”

PlayPlus focused on the show, stifled conversations and essentially ignored the reunion between the finalists and eliminated from the reality show

Meeting or show?

The production of “A Fazenda 16” capped the succession of evil acts committed against PlayPlus subscribers throughout the edition with the final disappointment: a get-together party that left the participants on the sidelines. Sacha Bali had already tipped. A few minutes before heading to the event, he stressed that it would be a mistake to put a live band during the celebration, where conversations would be more important.

There was no other way. A loud band prevented conversations from being heard. Furthermore, the edition preferred to focus on the spectacle rather than on pedestrians. And the show of Iguinho & Lulinha, Tarcísio do Acordeon and Vitor Fernandes was long, with each wanting to sing more hits than the other. Close up on the singer, close up on the accordion, close up on the drums. And the conversations between the finalists and the eliminated are not shown. A bonus frustration for PlayPlus subscribers.

Call Psst!

The G4 meeting; Luana Targino cries hugging Sacha Bali; Yuri Bonotto and Gui Vieira clarify the stories with Caue Fantin. What did they say? “There is no amô-ô-ô” on the TV speakers. And to make matters even more irritating, the camera practically never left the stage, offering only crumbs to those who wanted to see the favorites coexist with the underdogs.

Only half a dozen sentences could be heard by those who paid to watch “A Fazenda 16” streaming on Record TV. Luana revealed to Yuri and Gui that the viewers have nicknamed the group they formed G4 and that they are all very good with the public. Additionally, Zé Love confirmed to Sasha that there would be a boxing match between the two, and Larissa Tomásia had her long-awaited DR with Sasha, with half the dialogue drowned out by screeching drums, when the editing wasn’t stopped to show the singers. Rest? “Whoa-whoa-whoa.”

Could it get worse?

The audience, who waited more than an hour for the end of the show, was “compensated” for their persistence with another type of sound disturbance: loud music from the program’s official DJ. Between one thunderous beat and another, disjointed words like “Eu vi”, “Roça” and “Sério” could be heard, without any phrase having the chance to be heard in full. As if that wasn’t enough, instead of close-ups of the stage, the image remained static and fixed on the dance floor, in an exposure under an advertising mask, which limited the frame to only a third of the screen in the outline of a cell telephone. As if these oversights weren’t enough, images of the party were cut, with the editing airing scenes of the empty room at Headquarters.

Forty minutes after the show, the party ended with the program’s theme song and an abrupt cut to the room. A noteworthy ending to crown the final part of the worst streaming broadcast of a reality show on Brazilian television.

Is anything saved?

Hiding the celebration with a show and loud music helps the production drown out anything controversial and more interesting to the audience. On Wednesday evening (18/12), Record TV broadcasts a fragmented and impactless version of the reunion, which must include many moments of the never-ending spectacle, as the cameras focused essentially only on that, with little reality show entertainment for those who supposedly Tune to “A Fazenda” to watch a reality show.

Negative repercussion

Internet users were outraged by the ill will and carelessness of the production. “A final party with all the eliminated and the finalists, we chat, but the focus is on what?! On the singers.”, complained an Internet user. “PlayPlus still sucks even with 6 signals and now instead of showing party dialogue you only hear the band. If I wanted to hear piseiro I would be on YouTube,” another pointed out. Check out some reactions below.
