That’s what made the SlashFilm in a survey to understand which is the best science fiction film according to the institution. The highest score for a film of this genre belongs to a classic from his career. Christopher Nolan: The Origin (2010).
With around 2.6 million reviews on the platform, the feature film has a rating of 8.8 and is listed as 14th on the list of 250 best films of all time according to the IMDb.
Other films that appear in the ranking are Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), with a score of 8.6; Back to the Future (1995), with 8.5; and Dune 2 (2024), with a total of 8.5 points. Another science fiction classic that comes close to the Nolan and Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980), directed by Irvin Kershnerwhich has a score of 8.7 with 1.4 million reviews.
