Don’t do it, don’t do it on France 2: Will Emmanuel Macron really appear at the end of the episode?

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the final episode of Fais pas ci, which will be broadcast on France 2 on Wednesday evening. If you don’t want to know anything, move on!

This Wednesday evening, France 2 takes us to the moon! The channel is actually airing a new Fais pas ci, fait pas ça bonus called “We’re Going to Walk on the Moon,” which sees Les Lepic and Boule fly into space for a space mission like no other.

Bulls and Lepiks fly in space

We find the Bowl and Lepik families five years after they left, after being arrested during the first Christmas. Time passed, the children grew up again, left the family home, live their own lives… and their parents grew old.

In order to give them a new life, the children decide to register their parents in a big competition organized by the European Space Agency. The goal: to send ordinary French people into space so they can go to the moon.

And against all expectations, Fabien (Valérie Boneton), Renaud (Guillaume de Tonquedec), Valérie (Isabel Gelinas) and Denis (Bruno Salomon) are chosen to participate in this experimental program. A very special mission that will allow our heroes to find each other again, for better… and especially for worse.

Did President Emmanuel Macron really come to the set?

At the end of the episode, when the Lepiks and the Boules are finally back on dry land, they are greeted by President Emmanuel Macron, who congratulates them on their mission. Obviously, there is no real president in the TV movie.

The teams didn’t even need to use deepfake (artificial intelligence-based techniques to create fake images) to create these images.

In fact, they just called a double, but not just any double. It is actor Rafael Jimenez, who has been Groland’s official Macron since 2017, who has added his features to the character. Unusual looks that fit well Don’t do this, don’t do that.
