Film and television fans can now prepare for the start of the 2025 Awards Season. TNT and the streaming service Max broadcast live on January 5th at 10pm (Brasília time), the 82nd edition of the Golden Globes®straight from the iconic Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Los Angeles. The ceremony will feature simultaneous translation into Portuguese and comments from the series and film specialist Aline Dinizin addition to the original audio in English for those who prefer it.

This year, the presentation will be led by comedian Nikki Glaserwho goes down in history as the first woman to present the event alone. Lasting three hours, the awards ceremony celebrates the biggest highlights from TV, cinema and streaming, being one of the most anticipated events for pop culture lovers.

Among the nominated productions are the hits of Warner Bros. Discoverywhich secured 17 nominations in total. The series Hacks, Penguin and True Detective: Nightland stand out with three nominations each. In cinema, films like Emilia Pérezleader of nominations with 10 categories, and The Brutalistwhich received seven nominations, are the favorites.

Created in 1944 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the Golden Globes are recognized for rewarding the best productions and performances of the year. In addition to the competitive categories, the actress Viola Davis will be honored with the prestigious award Cecil B. DeMillewhich celebrates his notable contribution to the entertainment industry.
