THE Netflixannounced the documentary miniseries Rafawhich will represent the final season of Raphael Nadal on the professional tennis circuit. Directed by Zach Heinzerling and produced by Sky dance sport. The production will follow Nadal’s most iconic moments until the end of his sporting career, marked by injuries and memorable matches against great rivals, such as Novak Djokovic at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a statement, Nadal stressed that the documentary will offer audiences an insight into his life and career, providing a personal perspective on his tennis journey. The tennis player faced his last season despite being physically limited, saying goodbye to emblematic tournaments such as Roland Garroswhere he accumulated 14 titles, in addition to competitions in Spain and France. Despite his efforts, Nadal was unable to overcome the injuries that marked his recent trajectory, ending his career Davis Cup after being defeated by Botic Van de Zandschulpfrom the Netherlands.
The production will also address Nadal’s impact on the sport and his rivalry with it Roger Federer AND Novak Djokovic has redefined men’s tennis over the last 20 years.
The documentary does not yet have a confirmed release date, but will be released in 2025.
