Paramount + has released the trailer for “Teen Wolf: The Movie”, which highlights, among the many werewolves and dark supernatural threats, the return of the character Allison, played by Crystal Reed, who died eight years ago in the finale of the 3rd season of la MTV series. .

Aired at Comic-Con International, the video made fans scream with the revelation that Allison is not dead. The character was the heir to a family of werewolf hunters who fell in love with the teenage wolf played by Tyler Posey, and many fans did not accept his death well in the plot.

In the film, old supernatural friends reunite under the command of Scott McCall (Posey), who as a teenager became an alpha wolf, in a fight against the most powerful and deadly foe they have ever faced. But the wording of the threat is as vague as the preview footage.

The film’s screenwriter and “Teen Wolf” creator Jeff Davis explained to the Comic-Con audience that the production has 20 characters in all, making it lengthy, pretty much like a “Season 7 short”.

Also present in San Diego, Posey helped to contextualize the plot, explaining that his character was so traumatized by the events of the series, which ended in 2017, that he left Beacon Hills. “He lives in Los Angeles and he’s a normal person. He works as a vet and he’s alone. He’s an adult and he’s going through what we all go through … facing the reality of being a real human instead of a werewolf saving the world We’ve never seen Scott like this, ever.

Without giving further details on the plot, Davis only added that “it’s a thrilling ending”.

But it might not really be an ending. “There is a discussion about doing more,” speculated the writer-producer.

To live the 20 characters mentioned by the creator of the franchise, return Tyler Posey (who now voices “Fast & Furious: Spies of Asphalt”), Crystal Reed (who after dying in the series ended up in “Gotham” and “Monster”. Swamp “), Holland Roden (” Mayans MCs “), Tyler Hoechlin (Superman from” Superman and Lois “), Colton Haynes (” Arrow “), Shelley Hennig (” Dollface “), JR Bourne (” The 100 “), Dylan Sprayberry (“Light as a Feather”), Ian Bohen (“Yellowstone”), Seth Gilliam (“The Walking Dead”), Orny Adams (“Laughing at What?”), Melissa Ponzio (“Chicago Fire”), Ryan Kelley (“Land of the Brave”), Linden Ashby (“Pieces”) and Khylin Rhambo (“Deep Fear: The Second Strike”), as well as newcomers like Vince Mattis (“Halloween”) and Amy Workman (” Vikes “), among others.

A date for the premiere of the attraction has yet to be announced.
