Virgin River on Netflix: Why Season 6 Episode 2 Matters

Virgin River returns to Netflix in a big way this Thursday, December 19, for Season 6, which once again falls under the sign of love, as it is the scene of the long-awaited marriage between Mellie (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson). But that’s not the only highlight of these new episodes of the explosion!

How did Mel’s parents meet?

In Season 6, Episode 2, Everett decides to tell Mel the story of his meeting with his mother, Sarah. Through a clever flashback game, we discover the unusual circumstances that made them fall madly in love with each other.

An episode that is not insignificant because it allows us to introduce the upcoming spin-off of Virgin River, which will return to the love story of these two characters played by Jessica Roth, who you may have seen in Happy Birthdead and Callum Kerr.

And the least we can say is that this episode really makes us want to know what happens next. Like Virgin River, the love story between Everett and Sarah promises to be as epic as it is torturous.

There are many surprises waiting for us. And not to spoil anything, this spin-off will also allow us to discover the iconic characters of the series 50 years younger. Who doesn’t want to see Doc, Hope, Muriel, or even Jo Ellen in their youth? The spin-off will focus not only on Everett and Sarah’s romance, but also on the origins of Virgin River in the 70s.
