Unexpected love at first sight
A chance meeting brings Alice (Cindy Busby) and Jack (Ben Hollingsworth), two strangers with very different lives, to their wedding weekend. They hit it off immediately, but Alice is hesitant to meet someone new after a long-distance relationship fails.
Encouraged by her mother, Olga, the young woman slowly accepts the idea of being seduced by love again. Alice and Jack gradually grow closer, but they have to reconcile their attraction with a difficult professional life.
Inspired by a true story
As unusual as it may seem, the scenario of the Christmas fairy tale is inspired by the true story of Alice and Jack Tot. At a party organized by their church, they met singles for the first time.
At that point in their lives, they both refused to date anyone. But they immediately fell for each other. During the discussion, they discovered that both of them were going to the same wedding and the ring on the finger was their cousin.
Before the wedding, they also learned that their uncles had come to America together, and they became good friends during the boat trip. Unfortunately, when it came time to go through customs, they parted and did not see each other again until the wedding.
