Resident Evil on Netflix: What to Expect from Season 2?

A week after its release on Netflix, Resident Evil has amassed more than 70 million hours of viewing worldwide. While a sequel has yet to be confirmed at this time, the success of Season 1 should prompt the streaming giant to give it a go.

The man behind the series, Andrew Dabb, already has a lot of ideas in his head. The former showrunner of Supernatural — one of the longest-running fiction shows of recent years — the creator believes that the first season Resident Evil as simple asthe taste“.

If the end of the eighth and final episode mentions Ada Wong, one of the main characters of the video games, Andrew Dabb Explains that many other heroes may join the party.

He cites, for example, Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield – both featured in films. “These are heroes who have not appeared for a long time, how will they react to the events before 2036?– he asks in the interview polygon. The developer also wants to include one of the most emblematic antagonists of the franchise: Lady Dimitrescu, who is present in the game Resident Evil Village.
