The third biggest success of all time at the global box office Avengers: Endgame and the first Avatar, The Way of Water, the second opus of James Cameron’s triumphant saga, created an event when it was released in theaters there 2 years ago.

One and only mistake!
This new adventure on Pandora, which the Titanic director spent almost 13 years developing, has been praised by critics and the public alike for its absolutely stunning visual rendering. Its near-perfect visual effects, especially in the extraordinary water sequences, literally kept the audience on their seats.
However, despite the meticulousness and perfectionism of James Cameron, Avatar 2 contains some small mistakes, which our dear Michelle and Michelle did not fail to point out in their faithful transmission.
A minor inconsistency or two, sure, but also… the one and only visual bug!
at 59 minutes and 11 seconds
You literally have to cut through the entire feature film to see it, because it’s practically invisible. But if you’re short on time (which we totally understand), I just recommend hitting the pause button on your remote at 59 minutes and 11 seconds into the feature.
In the scene where the young boatman dives into the water to explore Pandora’s oceans, pay close attention to Cirea’s right shoulder. For half a second, you can see it go through his shoulder as he swims (for a better view of this, I recommend watching the sequence directly above the fake connection, above).
This is a very minor visual mistake that even James Cameron made in his otherwise absolutely flawless feature film. Anecdotal to say the least, this little detail at least reminds us that no one is perfect!
