Amazon Prime Video revealed a behind-the-scenes preview of the second season filming of “The Wheel of Time” at Comic-Con and took the opportunity to announce an early renewal of the series for its third year of production.
The first season, with eight episodes, premiered in November and there are still no predictions for the release of the next wave of episodes.
A saga full of battles, monsters and many visual effects, “The Wheel of Time” follows the sorceress Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of a powerful magical organization known as Aes Sedai, who sets out on an adventure with five chosen young men, testing prophecies that can save or destroy humanity.
The cast also includes Álvaro Morte (“La Casa de Papel”), Sophie Okonedo (“Flack”), Michael McElhatton (“Game of Thrones”), Josha Stradowski (“Instinct”), Marcus Rutherford (“Obedience”), Zoë Robins (“Power Rangers Ninja Steel”), Barney Harris (“Click”), Madeleine Madden (“Tidelands”), Kae Alexander (“Krypton”) and many more.
