Christmas movies have almost become a genre in themselves. In addition to the numerous TV movies that can be broadcast on various TV channels, sometimes from the beginning of November, many feature films are also considered part of this family of films that celebrate the end of the year.
One of the first that comes to mind, and certainly the most quoted when we talk about this particular genre, is Chris Columbus’s Maman I Missed the Plane, featuring poor little Kevin who is forgotten at home by his parents who have gone on vacation. Christmas holidays and then found himself alone, having to face two thieves who were as clumsy as they were determined.
We can also cite Joe Dante’s Gremlins (play our film quiz!), which, from its titles, creates this special Christmas atmosphere, with the town of Kingson Falls covered in snow, workers putting up decorations, children playing. Snowball fights and families search for the prettiest tree for their living room.
And then besides the obvious, there are these films that are always debated: can they, yes or no, be considered part of those “Christmas movies”? This is, for example, The Thorny Crystal Trap, the first film in the Die Hard saga. You probably have your own opinion on this question, but know that Bruce Willis decided one day when he was asked the question and that for him no, Die Hard is not one of those Christmas movies!
Could our quiz movies of the day fall into this category? In any case, you will definitely meet Santa Claus there, as this is our theme of the day. And if you’re smart (and relevant), maybe you’ll come out of these ten questions with a Perfect!
